Okay... I will tell about us... We have about 34 acres in NE Oklahoma... Near Tahlequah. 6 pygmy goats, 11 hens and a rooster, 6 cats and a dog.... And 2 sons at home. We built all our own cabins and barn. The cabins are dry... Sorta. So we have some cool engineering for shower and washing dishes. We use rainwater for all our needs as our well is not operational. We have great plans for solar as soon as we access our actual needs. Also interested in security and guns and boobie traps. Would love to get a garden going this year. Didnt have one last year cause we had no water stored and were trying to build a home while living on site..mostly in camping fashion. Our ground is very rocky so it will likely be container gardens. But Id love to have enough that I could learn to can. If I can offer any advice that would be awesome... But I know I will most likely be here to learn. Donna has saved me lots of heartache with her and her moms knowledge of goats. So I know this will be a great forum combined with all of the expertise of the other people that have already joined the page. Looking forward to it!
