Okay. Im alarmed. No. Im a little angry. I have been working on the new show for my gallery. Collecting art, making flyers. Trying to keep art alive in an area most people avoid. Lets face it. Midtown has bars. Midtown has lots of imported people with new money. I get it. Meanwhile, it seems like my blvd has been abused, people on a Franklin have no bus, no train. They cannot partake in what the rest of Sacramento is doing if they do not have wheels. They are mostly Mexican, and they, we, are cut off..... And, when I receive an email like this one, well, I GET ANGRY. Sent: Monday, June 30, 2014 8:54 AM Subject: Vending Complaint Follow up Hi all, just an FYI…..we were out there on Friday afternoon/evening with County EMD staff, we did not see any taco/tamale/hot dog/bbq carts on Franklin Blvd from Fruitridge to Sutterville, however, we did pick up 6 cut fruit vendors throughout the city and county as listed below: Rainbow fruit cart 5002 franklin blvd Rainbow fruit cart fruitridge rd/franklin blvd Rainbow fruit cart 7020 stockton blvd Rainbow fruit cart 44th st./fruitridge rd Rainbow fruit cart florin rd/franklin blvd Rainbow fruit cart florin mall dr./florin rd We were out in the area until approximately 7:30pm. We will continue to monitor this area as often as time & staff are available and/or until the problem subsides, tks!
