Okay, Ive been off for a couple of days now. So, while I could have attempted a poorly written essay on dialectical ethics in the modern milieu, could have read a Greek tragedy or perhaps could have pondered the Grand Unified Theory, Ive been reduced to these more gelatinous achievements: 1) Carb comma on Monday (there may have been a smallish bag of Cheetos involved), 2) Walked the trash to the curb on Tuesday morning (Oh, the humanity!), 3) Havent decided yet for Wednesday (Thinking is hard -- said with the Jim Gaffigan Hot Pockets voice -- you know the one, or at least you should). How Ive yearned for the restful languor of eyes dizzied with meaningless Netflix adventures. Or as I like to think of it, the introverts virtual version of a Snuggie and steaming cup of hot chocolate (bonus points if you are actually wearing a Snuggie while youre reading this...weirded out if you are also sipping a hot chocolate). As you might have surmised, Im being a bit hyperbolic about my time off, but just a bit mind you. On the brighter side, these introverted batteries of mine are charging at a pace that could only be rivaled by something produced in the laboratories of Elon Musk! At this pace, I might be able to face humanity in a few days...but, dont hold your breath! Im just kidding!!! I love people. I just dont like being around them very often. Okay, okay, enough with the introvert humor. Somebodys gonna think Im saying something more than the much shorter, much more easily digested extroverted version: Im enjoying some much needed downtime and it rocks. :)
