Okay, Ive been putting this off for days now, but its time to woman up. Peggy Carter Burke gave me a six and Jake Elliot gave me a five, so heres another eleven things you probably didnt know about me and dont particularly care about. Warning: if you like this status, I will be forced to give you a number and you will rack your brain for interesting tidbits about your mostly boring life. Here goes: 1. I always read magazines back to front. Dont ask me why, I just do. Probably because they always seem to put something short, but interesting on the back page. I dont know when or why I started doing it this way, but its now a habit. 2. I lived in England for four years when I was in high school. I cried every day after I moved back to America because it didnt feel like home. I bet you didnt even know you could be homesick for a country that isnt your own. 3. Ive lived in the Midwest for 26 years, but when Im really angry, I have a southern accent. 4. I read, write, and publish horror, but I also like to read historical fiction, mainstream fiction, YA, and the occasional paranormal or historical romance. Dont judge! There is beautiful writing to be found in almost any genre. 5. I get embarrassed and blush when I try to write erotica. Its one of the only things that makes me blush. Im very hard to embarrass. 6. Sometimes just for fun, my son, Sean, and I walk through Walmart using fake accents or speaking in a made up language just to confuse people. 7. I once tried to steal a 5 foot tall statue of a chicken. It was not named Beyoncé (probably only Shellee Fecht will get the significance of that) 8. Im pretty sure my son was reincarnated. He used to talk about his other life on a sheep station in Australia in way more detail than a three year old should know. He said he used to drive a red truck. And that when his daughter broke her arm, the helicopter had to come because the hospital was so far away. Spooky, huh? 9. My favorite book of all time really is Pride & Prejudice. I dont just say that to try to sound smart. Ive read it at least 10 times. 10. My favorite movie used to be Casablanca. But now its The Uninvited, the 1944 movie with Ray Milland. 11. Im an awesome cook. Dont roll your eyes, its not bragging if its true. And I have references to back it up.
