Okay. Joey is doing very well. He is off the breathing tube & has had no fevers or complications. I expect him to be awake & playing with his little Boo-Boo keys & starting off the new year with a new liver & a new life! He is BABY colored! NOT YELLOW! His eyes are white & clear! I think they will be hazel like his siblings eyes. He is very thin but I have been assured he will beef up like crazy. The meds he is on make him very hungry! I cant wait to see it! I really cannot wait to hold him! It has been weeks already. The liver was too large so they do not have him closed up yet. Next week after a bit of healing on the inside & a bit of shrinking goes on with the liver they will close up the area. Right now it is covered in a special bandage. Closing up the rest will be a quick surgery I have been told. Then it is all healing & fattening up :) Then, after a bit, our Family gets its HEART back!
