Okay...Kaye Dunavin Loftis challenged me to come up with 5 things no one knows about me. I figured everyone knows most everything about me except for my past romantic life, so here it goes! I include my mom & both grandmas & came up w/6 things! 1). King Hussein of Jordon (now deceased) wanted to marry mom and showed up at her home in Eureka,CA to ask grandma if he could marry her in a limo and trying to give jewels. Grandma said NO since she didnt want mom to be in his harem of many wives. Mom was speechless. She had met him in San Francisco visiting her grandma. He eventually married an American woman and only had one wife. 2). The real Colonial Sanders met the same grandma in Las Vegas when they both were in their 60s and wanted to start dating her. She said no since she was married, but it made her feel special. Grandma had 13 kids (12 she birthed) and was the cool grandma. I loved her so, so much! 3). I danced with Lorenzo Lamas. He was arrogant - Surprised? NOT! 4). Kansas City Chiefs Pro Football Player, Nick Lowery (now retired) wanted to take me home for some action. I said no since it grossed me out. I also reminded him that he had a girlfriend of almost 3 years and asked him if he felt bad about cheating on her! 5). My college boyfriend at OSU was a lineman & captain of the Beavers football team. I was also a homecoming princess at OSU. I wound up marrying the best man in the entire world, Rick Eska. My ex BF eventually cheated on his wife...more than once! I made the right choice! GO BEAVS! 6). My other grandma was a pretty famous musician who played piano in bands w/Tommy Dorsey and other famous bands at the time. She was married 8 or 9 times, but I doubt all of them were actual marriages. ;-) I love and miss her. She would play the piano for us and we loved it.
