Okay, Ne-Yo, whos been nominated the 10 past weeks as my next GONE post, but always fell short to more relevant GONE songs finally gets his 1st GONE. Now, I never understood the name Ne-Yo (I thought he just misspelled Nemo), but he actually means Neo (The Matrix). People believe Beyoncé and Drake cater to women the most, but neither actually could hold a candle to Ne-Yo. Songs like Miss Independent, One in a Million (Ne-Yo song) and now She Knows all give Ne-Yos fanbase this false illusion that they are all unique, clever and independent women. Yea, these girls are ALL independent if you dont count their fake nails, fake hair, fake eyebrows, living with their parents and using some form of government assistance. Ne-Yo is aware of this, but he knows his fanbase is more vulnerable than Justin Biebers Teenie Boppers or Lady Gagas LGBT community. She Knows is a spitting image of Katy Perrys Dark Horse song (pun intended with spitting); it even features Juicy J. Add a shitty techno-dubstep beat, some dirty strippers and Juicy J for supposed street-rap cred (Flo Rida wouldve also been acceptable). ...And the hook is so clever: And she knows, She knows, she knows, she knows (repeated 5x). But, Ne-Yo...Im just not convinced that she knows, could it be possible that she does NOT know? And just that Shes Gone?
