Okay, Peeps...time for some real talk! :-) Quit asking me about this snow storm of doom for next week! Remember a couple of weeks ago when I explained the biases of the EURO model and how it blows up snow more than a few days out? This time the Snowmagedden prediction is apparently coming from the Farmers Almanac. Thats a fun source for climatology...but does not take into account what is actually happening in our atmosphere at the time. We should get some snow next week...but it does not look like 8 to 12 or even the 17 to 18 some of you have mentioned! The people that have asked me havent yet pinpointed where they heard about this snow storm...which seems to indicate to me that they didnt hear it from an actual meteorologist. Those FB memes are fun to look at most of the time...but take them with a grain of salt!
