Okay facebook family and friends... This time of the year is all about paying it forward.. My family has been blessed with so many caring people through the past 4 1/2 years and so now its our turn to help someone else out.. Last night as I was searching in the hobbs garage sale site I came across a post of a few people very concerned about a few homeless people in hobbs... They got one of them out from the freezing weather last night and put into a warm hotel. All he has are the clothes on his back.. Im working with these awesome people to possibly get a few more nights in a hotel room for him and a few others.. But they also need warm clothing for the cold days and nights ahead. They are needing 38x32 pants, or xl sweats, xl shirts, size 11 shoes, and xl jackets. If you have any of these things you would like to donate, message me and I will pick them up and drop them off Friday/Saturday with one of the ladies who are helping get these people taken care of. They are also needing gloves, hats, socks, blankets and anything else to help them keep warm. They say this man is always talking about God, and hardly ever will take anything from others. He always says.. Ill see you in heaven last night he was so overwhelmed that he didnt want to go to the hotel room, he never asks for anything and hardly ever excepts cash. But after letting him know people were only trying to help him, they got him to the hotel and he slept in a warm bed last night. He only has the clothes on his back. They are also going to be helping another homeless man who has a dog, and he will feed the before he feeds himself, he covers him at night, even if it means hes cold. They are hoping to help out the others as soon as they can get sizes and such for them. The littlest things such as a warm bed and clothes are something we all take for granted. The hotel was $68 a night, and they have him set up for another night tonight. Lets start giving back to those who have NOTHING. If you would like to help out, please message me.
