Okay facebook friends...most of you know that I am terrified of snakes!!! I hate them!! Well, here is my adventure for today.. me and Dalton are in the pool having so much fun :) ..playing basketball, just acting goofy :) I get in the inner tube & Dalton is spinning me around & around... I have my head laid back... laughing.. well, I raise my head up & I see a SNAKE in the POOL!! Right by the steps!! I start screaming for Dalton to get out of the pool... to go to the ladder in the deep...at first he thinks that I am joking.. I dont joke about snakes!! As I am trying to get away from it... the darn thing comes swimming toward me!! All I am thinking is it is poisonous... it was a baby snake,but hey, it was a snake... and I am thinking that it may be more poisonous than a big one...well, the babies inject more venom...that is what I have always heard...I must have scared that thing screaming & it finally gets away from me...so I get out of the inner tube ..get out of the pool & take off running to the house to get David...He has laughed about this all day.. He said that I opened the door & yelled over & over....Snake in the pool...Snake in the pool... he gets up...takes off to the pool... looks at the snake..informs me that it is a chicken snake...he gets the dip net ...gets the snake & puts his fingers on its head & kills it....Dave is my hero...woohoo... snake is dead, but then he informs me that the baby snake looks like it hasnt even had its first meal... oh crapit, I think... that means that there is a mama snake somewhere... & more babies!!! ...with Dalton Cone, D J Cone
