Okay friends. I am trying to help someone that I have known.. about 10 years. If I needed help with a dog Id know right what to do.. but people? Not so much. Her and her bf fell on hard times and slowly things got tighter and tighter. They lost their home and now they are displaced for christmas. Two of her children are living at her moms (already no space for them, but grandma is squeezing them in) her and her bf and the 3rd child are living in a hotel, with his daughter now coming to live here too. As you can imagine, its been very hard on her to be away from her two children. They have found a new place, but are $500 short on getting in and the longer they stay at the hotel, the more $$ they are spending that they need for the total to get into their new home is $700. What resources can I point her to? Its the holidays and I couldnt imagine not being with my children if I had them. Like I said I can do fundraising for dogs all day, but am lost where to begin to help this family. They are located in the Appleton area and she would be grateful to any help anyone could give.
