Okay here we go... There really....really needs to be like a psuedo Islamic/Muslim Big Brothers program. Brothers from our ummah could devote a few afternoons a month and organize activities, field trips etc with our youth. There are many divorced, widowed, and unfortunately deserted mothers out there who may not have a positive Muslim male role model in her home or extended family. Alhumdulilah Allah swt knows and we know not. Allah swt never will burden us with something that we cant bear. There are plenty of strong single/divorced/widowed/deserted mothers out there who have held it down generations before we have and they raised outstanding muslim children. MashAllah. However, every situation is different for each person. May Allah make it easy for us. May Allah strengthen our deen within ourselves to raise brighter generations. Amin.
