Okay, heres the thing about the men and RL casting. We got lucky with that Rehv lookalike, but on the whole, the Brothers arent easy to cast. They have the beauty of otherworldy creatures, bodies I see every week when I watch wrestling Monday nights, and eyes you dont find anywhere in nature. Theyre written to be impossible to find anywhere in one big package in the real world. With the women, its a little easier, because while we have to plumb Hollywoods finiest to do it, they can be found. Even the cover model for The King had to be heavily airbrushed, eyes changed, and hair messed with. The guy sitting there is just a template. You can find those, and maybe get close with some of the supporting characters, but on the whole, no matter how many models you pull outta the Fabio Hall of Fame or the Abercrombie catalogues.....theyre always going be far short. Which is why movies of this series would be impossible, unless theyre willing to pull a complete Avatar makeover using the Rock to do it, and I dont think theyll be getting James Cameron to direct....or his money.
