Okay, heres what I know so far. My appointment was at 10 and I FINALLY got to see Dr. Fredricks at 12:30 (waiting room was PACKED!) Anyway, she wants to run another MRI and CAT scan WITH contrast dye this time to see if the white spots in my brain light up (dont know if thats good or bad) She also wants to do the lumbar puncture at the same time SOOOO...I have to check into St. Dominics next Wednesday (the 13th) at 7:00 a.m. She said she ordinarily would keep me over night but she thinks if I get in there early and then they keep me there for 4 or 5 hours after the spinal tap to administer fluids etc. that I can go home that night so Mom wont have to stay up there all night and we wont have to find someone to tend to Nelson. So far, that is all I know. Until then, I am supposed to avoid doing anything which might aggravate my ever present headache (thats going to be hard to do) I DO LIKE Dr. Fredricks....very straight forward, no nonsense, lets figure out what the heck is wrong with you! Thanks for all your prayers and concern. Until I find out exactly whats going on, please keep the prayers going.
