Okay im going to do one of these again for who i would choose in the 11 tonight. In a 4-2-3-1. Krul- Had a poor run of late needs to dust himself off and go on to be the keeper we know he can be, unfortunately cant be dropped because Elliot is at best a mid table championship goalkeeper. Janmaat- Best of the signings so far, he is a diamond of a right back but we need to get rid of those rough edges (concentration and positioning being the main issues.) Colo- Been poor of late has the quality to be a top Cb but needs to adapt to his new physical limitations, i think he can and go on to be as good as he was when we finished 5th. Taylor- Questionable decision but Wilo has been very poor of late and seems unsure of himself and if there is one thing you cant fault about Taylor its his Confidence, he might just get colo out of his slump. Dummett- I dont think he is good enough to be first choice, ive made that point for the last 3 of these however he played well on wednesday and hopefully pardew will give him a shot to prove me wrong. I hope he manages it. Colback- Solid and a decent passer of the ball helps out at both ends but needs to make quicker decisions when in his own half. Tiote- He is our best player and the defence needs him to protect them otherwise they crumble, lets hope he can prevent that. Cabella- He can be magical, but he has so many faults that are stopping him from showing it, he is a bit weak and expects too much time on the ball, he has to realise that in the prem unpredictability is your biggest asset and that stepovers wont get you past a man, but pace might, a skill might, dont wait for him to commit force him to. Armstrong- This lad is the hope for Newcastle, he wont be our next Shearer but he doesnt have to be, matter of fact if he really tries and really progresses he can be better than shearer. he doesnt have the physicality of a pure english number 9 but he has the technique of an italian trequartista, he can take on a creative role as well as a scoring one and maybe even go on to be our next star. Perez- He has pace, he has skill and can both pass and shoot in short he will be a threat playing on the left while rotating with others, this lad could go on to be a very capable forward and i think he can make an impact even if not in his prefered role. Riviere- I dont know what to make of him, i think as a support striker he could be decent and there is still a question over whether he can be a lone striker but with the three behind him he should do decently. Subs Elliot - No one else. Wilo- Good when confident when he doubts himself he is poor and reverts to hoof and hope. Haidara- Good offensive fullback however against the physicality of stoke i would have him sit it out. Sissoko- he has been poor for a while, and his attitude irks me he just doesnt seem to try, could be because of the manager but who knows. Ameobi- Has a little bit of skill about him and can be a threat. Chicky- this lad has promise and needs to be given a shot, apparently his fitness is an issue so he needs to work on it to get into the team. Cisse- Would be first pick if i didnt feel like he could easily pick up another injury considering pardew mentioned muscle wastage a few weeks ago about his knee. I want him to work upto fitness and not to be used against stokes physical nature unless needs must. Notable omissions Gouffran- would normally get a place on the bench for his workrate but it seems to have dropped a bit over the last 6 months. Anita- Loses out to sissoko because of sissokos versatility in the midfield. So thats how i would have us line up to go out and attack and hope that even if we lose we can make it entertaining, im guessing pardew wont quite have the same mindset. //Moore//
