Okay...its been a while since I have called on the networks that be to aid in being able to find homes/fosters/rescues for our kitties, but we need your help urgently right now. Please read, please share, and keep sharing until these two darlings are able to get out and end their lives in dignity not in a shelter kennel. We sadly had 2 old cats that were surrendered to be euthanized today but staff opted to give them a chance to be adopted or fostered out. One is a long haired Siamese named Chuck (A248495) who is blind and 15 years old. He has no clue where he is and is scared and hissing at everything. He will let you pet him but will grumble the entire time. The other is a torti called Cleo (A248494) who is 17 years old. She is incredibly sweet but very scared at the shelter and is licking wet food. Both of these cats deserve better than this and theyre both in good physical condition for their ages from what I could see. They could really do with a foster to live out their few remaining years.
