Okay, let me try and explain what my past few weeks have been like ;) I was promptly replying to work associates and clients via text messages on my I-phone (I like to respond very promptly as it is important in real estate when contracts and issues arise etc.) As far as I knew they were getting messages until two days later I got an angry phone call from my associate Why havent you been responding to my texts?! Long story shorter I called Verizon and after trouble shooting a while called Apple and discovered there was a server error so I was told to turn off my I-messages and only send and receive normal SMS messages....then my screen started locking and not responding to my touch (A problem I have had on and off) so I called again for tech support, after several trouble shooting attempts and an hour plus of time, the issue was supposed to be resolved...until the next day. Then I called again and was told to do several more steps to resolve it and another hour of tech support later it was supposed to be fixed, but it wasnt....called again and spoke with senior advisers who spent another hour or so...meanwhile I am also getting messages that my I-cloud cant back up my phone because it is full...we troubleshooted that issue and I was advised to clear all old texts and emails from my accounts. 3000 deleted emails and hundreds of deleted texts later (Yes this took almost 5 hours) the message returned....when I called tech support again they informed me that what I had done wasnt the way to fix the storage problem and I just needed to delete the last back up and do a new one....they also tried trouble shooting the lack of response to my touch on the phone etc...another hour or more....then needed to do a system restore the next day.....then a complete I-tunes back up....which I was assured would not lose any of my contact info....today my phone is still full on i-cloud storage, it is still not responding to my touch many times, some of my contacts are missing phone numbers and addresses AND I got a call that someone who had been trying to text me was unable to send me texts! Argh!!! Another two hours of and they are finally going to send me another phone....did I mention that my external hard drive also crashed and I had tech issues with my ipad as well? :) SHeesh! This has been my own little technological hell month!
