Okay parents. How do you teach your child to be quiet/lower their voices? William has only one volume level and its beyond loud. He obviously doesnt understand yet what be quiet please, lower your voice, speak softly, and shh mean at this point, so how do you help them learn and understand? At this point using these phrases is like trying to explain color to a person without sight. We have tried lowering our voices and whispering, etc., but he thinks its funny and doesnt quite grasp the concept yet. Is it just a matter of repetition? Or is there something else I could be doing to better help him?
