Okay peeps, my wife has shamed me into voting in the DC Democratic primary tomorrow (ironically being held on April 1st... or perhaps thats not irony at all *wry grin*) The DC primary is the defacto general election as well these days. Her argument, which is quite persuasive, is that if Afghans can brave bombs bullets, and having their inked fingers chopped-off by the Taliban for the privilege of voting, I can brave the 07h00 cool temps here to do the same. Ive attached the DC Voters Guide for those of you (like me) who need the help. If youre willing to trust my judgment, vote for Muriel Bowser (as the only hope of defeating Grey); Jim Graham Ward 1 (Ive had fair reason to consult with him this past couple of years, and hes responsive and approachable. And proven); and Phil Mendelson for Chairman (hes done well this past term). Or, of course, vote your own ticket!
