Okay, rejoice everyone...it is Friday!!!!! Hope all of you got through the week okay with as little stress as possible and as much joy that you could find. We had a light dusting of snow late evening last night, and it was actually quite nice walking with LOKI. Our Boy came back looking like a Dalmation and with lots of snow on his nose. He loves to bury his nose in any footprints he comes across out there. Too funny. He also wore his milk quite nicely on his chin and the end of his nose as well. Course his nose he licked off, his chin I wiped dry. Such a good boy letting his mom clean his face. He will now sit as I towel him dry if he comes in covered in snow. Almost as if he immediately expects this. He will also sit and wait for me to remove his leads and harness as soon as we enter the house. We have such a routine going that if I dont respond right away in doing such things, he starts to fidget. In reading about WDs I noted that once they establish a routine it is best not to deviate from it. WDs prefer structure. Loki is training me well as we progress on this journey. Imagine waking each morning to see this beautiful boy looking at you from the end of your bed as in the second picture. Lucky, OMG, I am so lucky. I really wish I could convince him to sleep with me in bed every night, but he prefers the floor and his own beds. Yes, I often find myself giving into the urge to lay on the floor with him and throw a blanket over myself. Wouldnt you??? if you had that chance. Have a great day all.
