Okay so I admit, before booking this hotel I read the reviews online on every site you can think of! I was still kind of iffy.. but I got a deal of $68 for two nights... HOW can you beat that? During my drive to Kissimmee, my stomach was turning just thinking about what kind of room Champions would give me! I arrived around 1:40am, and was immediately greeted by two friendly ladies- one named Trisha who checked me in. The check in process went smoothly, and I asked for the heck of it if I could be placed in a renovated room (read that tip online!). The other woman at the check in counter overheard me, and came over to ask if I was willing to pay extra for it, since that was an upgrade. I opened my mouth to speak and obviously say no- but Trisha cut in and said that it would not be extra. That made my night! She let me know about the $50 hold on my credit card, which I was fine with. They placed me in a GORGEOUS brand new room, new tile, granite counter tops in the kitchen area with a good sized mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and all the utensils one would need. The bathroom was spotless, and the water got very hot. I was in room 110 which is directly across from the childrens playground and near the pool. I could not believe how QUIET it was! Mind you, it was 50 degrees outside, but there were still about 7 people in the pool in the mornings. For breakfast, they offer a buffet style breakfast (you have to pay) but the restaurant is beautiful and offers a peaceful view, perfect for starting your day off right. The room service lady is super sweet, and did a great job cleaning our room and restocking towels and toilet paper while we were out. I came in to Champions with LOW expectations, but they sure did change my mind immediately!! I felt bad for judging them so harshly before Id even gotten there. I will definitely be returning here in my future trips to Kissimmee... I was truly sad to leave. Thank you Trisha and Champions for a safe and comfortable stay. You outdid yourselves and made this girl VERY happy :)
