Okay so I am not going to mention the stores name, but I went to a store yesterday to purchase some new undergarments. I was excited because such said store was running a 40% off sale.. Oh YAH!!! When I get there I started to browse I see two tables that have a signs that panties are normally 5 for 32.00 not bad but they also have the sign 40%. What a deal that means 5 pair would only cost $19.20 or $3.84 per pair... I am in or NOT! I say to the sales lady that means that these tables are 5 for 32.00 minus 40%?.. she YELLS to the other sales girl behind that counter the 5 for 32.00 does not apply today because of the 40% off, right?? The other girl replies That is correct. So I look at the price per pair normally is 14.00... The sales girl proceeds to tell me with the 40% off it is a better deal... Okay math wiz here. I look her straight in the face and say $14.00 minus 40% is $8.40 per pair... That means for 5 pair of underwear I will be paying you 42.00 instead of your normal sale price that you sell these for which is 32.00 so you are asking me to pay you 10.00 more because they are on sale for 40% off? Her eyes got wide.. no answer and she just shrugs and walks away.. such said store will be getting a email from me telling them what I thought of their 40% off sale ;)
