Okay so I dont know if what Im about to say is right or wrong, but anyone who has more knowledge or understanding on this is welcome to explain, please!? I had a conversation last night with some #framily and we mentioned the book the shack and how it vividly tries to illustrate the three personalities of the trinity, the father, son and holy spirit. As Im driving this morning I start to pray and think about that conversation and in my prayer, I realized I address each one differently and for very uniquely specific requests. I found myself praying to The Father when asking forgiveness, or continual blessings and protection, and praise! I would pray to Jesus and give Him thanks as if I were talking to my best friend, thanking Him for His love, obedience and sacrifice. Then Id ask the Holy Spirit for His wisdom, discernment and power, through His constant presence in and around my life. I quickly came to the conclusion that The Three do make up One, but in fact in my understanding, even through scripture, that they are All Three very different beings, making up One divinely perfect creator.
