Okay, so I just got done watching... for the first time in 36 years... Return of the Living Dead 2 with the original score and soundtrack. There is, quite literally, nothing more disappointing that the complete shit version they released on DVD. That said, this fanedit actually managed to remind me of how fun this film was in the theater. Its got horrible effects... only 5-6 actors doing the zombies for most scenes, so even with different makeups you do a double take on seeing a zombie youve already seen killed suddenly have a clone pop up... and the characters are two dimensional and grating... but by god... theres something intangible there that simply works.
