Okay, so I just witnessed a debate turn totally racist that should not have to do with race at all. I guess I just find it all crazy... I obviously had to put in my opinion on the matter because it disturbed me to no end (white and black people btw). My comment- Not everyone on assistance is a brother (which is just a nicer way to say the n word and is just as offensive) and not every white person is racist or has it in them (thats just as racist as saying brother) It is these type of comments that hold us back in society and continue the racism. The girl that posted her OPINION was just that, her opinion. I do not know any of you, but come on now.... I think we are all better than this. I come from a mixed family (and although my skin is white my blood is creole, african american, irish, indian, scottish and who knows what else) It just baffles my mind that people look at people differently because of their skin color. It is peoples actions and behaviors that matter, point blank. If I tan and get darker skin is it going to make me act differently? ummm no. If I stop tanning and my skin gets lighter is it going to make me more racist? no. I guess I just find any kind of prejudice, in general, ridiculous... - I love everyone equally until you give me reason otherwise. Stop the hate people! Spread the love!!
