Okay, so... I remember a show, when I was a kid, called, Valerie, where after the first couple seasons, the main character of the shows namesake died and the name of the show was changed to The Hogan Family. As a kid, I was under the impression that the actress actually died. I have just learned, after all these years, that the actress did not in fact die. She is alive and well at age 74 and still acting. She left the show due to a salary dispute and THE CHARACTER was killed off. I remember this WHOLE BIG TRAGEDY revolving around this persons death, and I have JUST NOW learned that the whole thing was a fictional tragedy existing only within the series. ... I also just learned that one of the kids in the show was a young Jason Bateman, so... Mind Blown
