Okay, so I think those of you whove been around know Im super-tight with my family. And recently, my Aunt Barb called me (you know her as Aunt Bette from MOTORCYCLE MAN) to share two funny as shiz stories. First, shes retired Air Force but still works with the AF and shes not that fond of cooking (like, at all). So they were having an office party and she asked what she could bring. The dude organizing it said, A can of Ro-tel and Velveeta. She was all, That dip in your book isnt made up! Im all, Of course not! And Im not surprised a dude ordered that for the menu. Its dude food. She then went on to tell me she had a visit with my other beloved auntie in Indiana. My Auntie C is religious (like, REALLY religious), so suffice it to say she loves me but shes never read one of my books. Regardless, shes also proud of me. She admitted to my Aunt Barb why she hadnt read my books and Aunt Barb told her she got her, theyre pretty smutty and she frequently hands people MOTORCYCLE MAN and challenges them to find a page without the F-word on it. Thus far, no one has succeeded in this endeavor. At this point, my Auntie C shared that she boasted about me to her friends, saying, I taught her everything she knows. Aunt Barb advised maybe she should stop doing that. HA! I freaking love my family. They make me giggle when Im not even there! Rock on!
