Okay, so a lot of my friends and family are pet lovers. I see your posts daily about the cruelty to animals, endless posts of dogs, cats, various exotics animals. But I never see you post about pet stores. Pet stores are like the top of the food chain when it comes to animal abuse. Their animal sources are questionable at best; puppy mills and the like that spread disease and birth defects. Their genes pools are shallower than most royals, and they perpetuate the problems of strays and population issues without any real education on spaying and neutering. Their irresponsible advertising glamorize pet ownership without keying on the lifelong responsibility of it. Pet supplies are one thing, but the sale of animals should be much more heavily regulated. How can we even breed and sell more animals with so many already dying everyday in shelters all over our country? Just one guys opinion...
