Okay...so, eleven things you dont know about me: hmmmm....most people will know some but not others...so here goes: 1. Most people do not realize how short I am until they stand next to me. I am 52. 2. My biological father is Canadian, emigrated in 1967. He is a gay retired English teacher, actor and writer. 3. I lived in Saudi Arabia from 1983-1988. I left after the Stark attack. About two years later, CNN showed pictures of our former next door neighbor, standing in our former backyard with a piece of a SCUD missile. Yep....that was why I took the kids and left. 4. I did not graduate from College until I was 34. When I finally did I graduated Summa Cum Laude. 5. Prior to becoming a nurse, I ran heavy equipment, flagged and helped to pave roads, taught piano, freelanced (writing,) waitressed, wrote, sold and performed in radio commercials. 6. I moved 21 times before I was 7. I have moved 27 times since I was 17. 7. Over the past six years, I have had 5 joint surgeries. 8. I have four children, two grandchildren, all of whom I adore, and of whom I am inordinately proud. 9. I am terrified of ships, not boats on lakes or water, ships on oceans. 10. I scuba dive. 11. Generally, I dont like ice cream.
