Okay so get ready cuz heres some real talk. Nothing hurts my heart more... Not any boy who has ever shattered my heart into little pieces... Not any friend who betrayed me and then smiled to my face.. No nothing has ever affected my heart as much as what is going on in Israel. My friends are there, my family is there and lastly other humans, all going about their day just like you and me. Imagine going out to the mall, a wedding celebration, school or sitting in the comfort of your own home constantly scared that rockets could destroy everything you have and hurt or kill you or your loved ones. Imagine hearing sirens in the middle of the night or in the shower and you have less than 20 seconds to run to a bomb shelter or it could cost you your life. This is normal daily life in Israel right now. No human being on the face of the Earth deserves to have to deal with this way of life. Time for some truth. Forget the propaganda you hear on the news. Israel gave back Gaza to the Palestinian Arabs under an agreement that they would stop firing into Israel but instead they continue to attack Israel sending about 100 bombs every single day. The media ignores this and then claims Israel is treating Gaza badly. All we hear on the news is how Israel is attacking Gaza and how Israel is doing this and that. The media portrays Israel in such a negative light but Israel is simply protecting herself. Would we tolerate daily bombings from Canada or Mexico? Or their celebration of the kidnapping and murder of 3 innocent teenage boys? As the Prime Minister Of Israel says, Hamas is deliberately putting Palestinian civilians in harms way. It embeds its terrorists in hospitals, schools, mosques and apartment buildings through out the Gaza strip. Hamas is committing a double war crime. It targets Israeli citizens while hiding behind Palestinian civilians. Now Ill admit that there are people on both sides who wish the other side was dead. The difference is these radical murderers are in power in Gaza but not in Israel. Until that changes, the fighting won’t stop. I have full faith that Israel could wipe Gaza and the West Bank off the face of the earth if they wanted to. They have one of the best militaries in the entire world. So why don’t they? Well its simple. They just don’t want to. They want to work towards peace not total destruction or genocide. My heart and soul is in Israel. Im sending out good vibes to all my family and friends in Israel. Im hoping for a quick and final resolution. Im hoping for an end to all bloodshed on both sides. All life is too precious. No human should die. Not one more Arab and not one more Jew. We need peace now.
