Okay, so here are the 17 facts about myself: 1. I can now say Ive lived half of my life in El Salvador and the other half in the US. 2. Ive lived in 13 different houses (3 in El Salvador, 4 in Florida, 3 in South Carolina, 1 in Hawaii, 1 in New York, 1 in North Carolina) 3. I sucked my thumb until I was 6 years old. (dont judge me) 4. I have been to the following countries: Panama, Guatemala, Spain, Germany, and Italy....and I would love to go to many more. 5. I almost drowned when I was 8. It was scary, I really thought I was going to die! 6. I played basketball and did gymnastics growing up. I guess I can say I was pretty decent at both :) 7. I have only had 2 boyfriends my whole life. I am currently married to my second one. 8. My husband and I have been married for 11 years, 5 of which we have not lived together. 9. I have eaten horse meat as pizza topping. I have to say, it was pretty good! 10. I have lived without a spleen for 12 years. 11. This is how December goes for us: the 17th is Daniellas birthday, 25th Christmas, 26th Devins birthday, 27th my birhtday, 28th our wedding anniversary and my nieces birthday. 12. So, some people know that my passion is Sign Language and that I was first exposed to ASL in High School. However, I didnt meet a deaf person until I was 25. 13. While my family and I lived in El Salvador we experienced the civil war that lasted from the years 1979 to 1992. One day, my sister and I went outside our bedroom because we thought we had heard some noise, turns out there were 2 bullet holes above our bedroom window...I didnt make much of it then, but now that I think about it, I think its kind of crazy!! 14. I had both of my children through natural birth. The thought of a needle going into my spine scared me more than labor itself. 15. In El Salvador I was taught (I assume in all the other Central and South American countries students are taught the same way) that there are 5 continents: America, Asia, Africa, Europa, Oceania. To this day, this has been an ongoing argument with my husband who tries to talk me out of 5 and into the idea of there being 7 continents... crazy huh? this guys doesnt know what hes talking about. 16. while in Hawaii, I jumped off a 40 ft rock into the ocean... IT WAS AWESOME! 17. I was born with an extra toe... just kidding, I really ran out of things to say =]
