Okay so marching band is my thing. Its just purely, 100%, my thing. It means the entire spacial realm of the universe to me and I couldnt ask for a more badass thing to do every day for four months. All of my band mates- you rock. Like, seeing other people do this and enjoy this means a ton and I love you all :) you make me proud- and I hope I make you proud. Thats the thing I love about band, in the end, were all just really proud of it all. Its something we can keep forever. So including my wonderful brother and wonderful boyfriend, that was the seniors last show with Chesapeake and I gotta admit I was crying a bit- because I was so so so proud of them. Its been a bit of a rough season, between bad judges, unqualified judges, some brutal rain and mostly the trial and error and figuring things out on the part of our wonderful director, but Im glad we could wrap up the season with state champs :) Im so immensely proud of everyone, once again. Especially mr. Guzik too, like its been crazy for him. I know if he had hair, he wouldve been pulling it out at band camp. He did a wonderful job this season. Okay, anyway, you guys are golden. Thank you freshmen for being tops :) Im proud to wrap up my sophomore year of marching band with you all c:
