Okay so obviously shock collars are just plain awful and cruel. I have a feeling I know what you guys are gonna say but I was wondering what are your feelings on invisible fences, because it is my understanding that most of them use shock collars as well so the dog is afraid to pass the boundary. My dad has one for their dog. It works really well for him as far as keeping him in. It has been suggested I train my dog on it too so that he can run loose when I am over there but the idea really horrifies me, to think I would have to force him to get shocked to learn how the fence works. Thoughts?
