Okay, so this isnt quite about retro games. Rather, something that might appeal to retro gamers. Im sure some of you are familiar with the Trials series and I know that some of you arent. I also know that some of you are purists and dont really touch many newer games. However, I implore you to give this one a shot. I overlooked this series of games for YEARS because of the aesthetics and now Im kicking myself for it. If you ever loved Excitebike, give this a go around. Its been a few years since Ive found a competitive platformer that was worth my time but its been worth the wait. Theres a huge community for it and theres a lot to be said about someone who is skilled in this game. Its not easy. Also, unlike the video seems to want to make you think, tricks have very little to do with the game. This game is about physics manipulation/execution and problem-solving. Its easy to pick up, hard to master, and even harder to put down.
