Okay, so today, Wednesday, is Painting Day....and once again, Im off to a very late start (3:30pm). BUT! I have actual reasons! Not excuses, mind you, but actual, bonafide EXPLANATIONS! YESSIREE! You see, at the last minute I was invited to a very high-end event that begins at 8pm, which is when I have to be in the house, as per my curfew. My parole officer said that whenever situations like this arise where there is something I really should attend that might be beneficial to my career or future employability, that they can make exceptions. HOWEVER! That entitles having letters of support written and faxed to my parole officer...explaining why its so imperative I attend this event...which had me on the phone all morning long talking to....well, important people who, I felt, might best be able to explain what and where this function will be and why it will change my life (for the better) to be out until 10 or 11pm that night. I had to contact my parole officer and connect her to all the right people...have them fax her a professional-looking proposal, etc. THEN, my dentists office called to say the computer says my insurance wont cover my dental exam tomorrow morning and not to come in until I have it all straightened out....THIS TOOK THREE HOURS OF PHONE CALLS TO CLEAR UP! then keoki came over on his way tot he airport and was so hungry i had to make him lunch of a toasted english muffin, raw spinach, hummus and tomato with apple/kiwi/pineapple juice.....and now, its 3:30.....time to make the donuts! i actually might try and make up for this by giving up half of saturday or sunday this weekend....because this is getting to be a bit ridiculous, i think!!!
