Okay, the final decision has been made that Ron needs to stay here in the PICU. We wont be going home for Christmas. I am still hopeful that things can work out, in various creative ways, for me to be with all of my children for Christmas. The decorating has begun here in Rons room! Though I am not creative in the least, some wonderful people are already working on transforming this dreary room into a place of Christmas splendor!! I am disappointed, I am tired, I am weary of watching Ron suffer...but there is no choice but to move forward and make the best of things. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, calls, texts, gifts, and concern for my sweet boy and our entire family. As I said in a post back in the summer, when I watch Ron and see his perseverance...his ability to just keep on keeping on then I am inspired. While I wish things were different, I am so thankful to have my children, each and every one of them.
