Okay then, those of you who are up late and those in foreign places. After about a years work (on and off) its finally live... our JOHN CONSTANTINE: HELLBLAZER FAN FILM!!!! Its the most ambitious short film weve ever put together but made a great experience from working with such an excellent team, all of whom went above and beyond the call of duty is some way and for no pay whatsoever. The first thing you guys will have noticed on our various posts so far is the wicked make-up FX on our demony characters, all thats down to the mad skills of Clare Gregory and Jayne Hyman, but when youre watching you also see some remarkable digital FX and they are laid at the feet of the talented Steve Askey. Remember that awesome poster for the film? Well that image, along with the rest of the publicity photography was captured by the ace David dwyz Wayman. And then we have the on-set work horses, grafting like bastards to make sure that film was shot to its best. First our own Jordan Morris who lit and shot the whole thing more stylishly than most big budget TV shows have any right being, then we had the ever reliable Gavin Mawditt who came in as continuity supervisor then took on more jobs than I could keep track of. Sarah Kerry, only credited for on-set sound, in actuality went out of her way to help with much of the post-production sound as well as being the reason we were able to finish shooting the film (thats a whole story). Oh and theres music, generously donated by the vastly talented Adam Marsh and Alex Leggett along with his rockin band Little Mammoth. And last but not least are our great cast, from cameo cabby, Tony Brown, to the patient, make-up wearing scary-men with crazy acting chops, Darren Maffucci, Paul Marsh and Chris Shiel... and then there is the very embodiment of John Constantine, the dude who is a more accurate Constantine than any other yet put to screen, the multi-talented and über proffesional David Chabeaux. As the writer/director (Richard Adam Reynolds), I really hope you all enjoy the film, whether your a fan of the comics or not, and recognise the hard work that these great people have put in. Were very proud of it, and would be tremendously grateful if you could help out in your own way by giving it a share. https://youtube/watch?v=7MQINpiYRPw&feature=youtu.be
