Okay, this is just for informational purposes and anyone who wants to follow. This is Sim, my 3 1/2 yr old Tenn Walker (Reg name Im Simply Complicated - which she seems to live up to!) In late May she had what appeared to be allergies in both eyes, weepy and rubbing them on everything (she had the same thing last spring) I cleared it up with benedryl and non-steroidal antibiotic eye ointment. For the last 2 weeks she has had this blue spot in her eye, its not cloudy, its a clear blue spot in the shape of a small donut? on her pupil. No other symptoms, no discharge, redness, swelling, sensitivity or vision impairment. I gave it a little time to see what became of it and I DO HAVE have vet appt scheduled first thing Sat morning (soonest I could get in) to check it out...I have gotten several suggestions from people on what it could be but I am hoping just a scratch or poke that can be fixed and NOT Uvetis (moon blindness) or a cataract like people have been suggesting. I just wanted to put this out in case anyone was interested in the outcome or if someone is facing something similar, will post a follow up after our vet visit.....Thanks!
