Okay to everybody thts asking me wht they need to do to b an correctional officer..Its not easy as it seem. ITS a very long process.First u fill out a book for an application then u turn it and if they interest they will call u..there is no calling to check on it. And they only pull 3or 4 application every four months.if u get pick u have two interviews.one with recruiter and the other with the hiring board.then if they accept u then u have to take the written exam ..if u pass tht then the polygraph written( lie detector) then if u pass which is really nerve wrecking they MAKE take a drug test!! Then u passed tht ur hired bt tht doesnt mean u keep the job because u still have to go to jail school and do On the Field training
