Okay, um... what? I just read the news about Sony ditching the script they had for Ghostbusters 3 and apparently they were inspired enough to change their whole plan for a script written by Paul Feig which would feature a reboot with an all female cast. Because of their working relationship, its all but a lock that Melissa McCarthy would play a role, but that is just rumor at the moment. This sounds like a horrible idea all around, but thats just my first impression. I dont look at the way the business of Ghostbusters is portrayed in the movies and imagine that 30 years later it would be carried on by only females. Why is this an all female cast? What is the particular reason it needs to be this way? I really wish they would completely close down the idea of any further Ghostbusters movies if they are not going to get Dan, Bill, Ernie, and Ivan. You want to put girls on the team, awesome. But without those guys and then excluding any guys from the team just seems bad all around...
