Okay, we have to have a talk. I love you guys, you know this. I appreciate it every. single. time. that you tell someone else about my books. YOU have made me more popular than Ive ever imagined possible. Thank you for that. Im seriously grateful. Theres an exception to this rule, however, and thats when someone is promoting my books WHILE posting a bad review about another author/ book. Im not a fan of that in any form, even if I dont like the author (I cant think of an author I dont like, but even if there was one, I wouldnt find this acceptable.) Please dont do that. Id be grateful if you found another way to spread the word about me. I understand that bad reviews are a fact of life; Im no stranger to them. I just think that it isnt the appropriate time to mention my work in a bad review unless youre talking about my stories (and then, why are you giving me a bad review???? I would bleed for you! I have bled for you!) Kidding aside, its respect. Its also bad parenting. You praise me while bashing someone else, and then I get beat up later for it and my milk money stolen. And I like milk. Chocolate milk. Like a boss.
