Old Bank House was built in 1878 for the Commercial Bank of Scotland.In the early 1900 it amalgamated with The National Bank of Scotland and was renamed The National Commercial Bank of Scotland in the 60s it was acquired by RBS and the banking side was closed and was moved across the road to the RBS building. The building was sold and it became a Toy Shop for many years in fact my Wife and I used to come in and buy our eldest son Williams Christmas Toys. We purchased the House in 2005 and converted it into a B&B all 2700 square feet of it.
