Old Boys news: Earlier this year, at our Inter-house Swimming Gala, Old Albanian Stephen van der Merwe (Class of 1970) and Mrs Mary Lundie, mother of Old Albanian and Springbok Diver Martin Lundie (Class of 1971), handed over photographs of both Robert and Martin to be hung in the von Geusau building. During the proceedings, Mrs Lundie mentioned that Martin was thinking of entering the World Masters Age Group Springboard Diving Championships in the 60 - 64 Age Group. An update from this …Martin, feeling the pressure and given the motivation from the public announcement by his mum, entered into the competition and is currently in Montreal competing in the Championships. He dived in the 3 Metre Competition earlier this week and won the Gold Medal! Congratulations Martin!
