Ollie (Baker & Baker coach) teaching me a split finger at 9 yrs old. My teammate, Jimmy, getting busted with a softball bat during our minor league championship game. We lost. Paul (my Bell/TCB coach) rumored to have thrown another coach down the foul line. Mr. Marky giving me pitching mechanic pointers. Learning a curveball because I saw Knuepple(sp?) from Caligraphics throw a nice one. Getting hit by a pitch on the right inner forearm by Dewey of LTS. One game, I hit Mark from King square in the back all three times he came up. Then hearing a parent, not his, saying to take my ass out of the game because I was dangerous. Put a hole in the top of our first electronic scoreboard. (Wouldve been a story if it happened during a game.) Ending my last year with a bang.. 3 big shots over the fence during a close game to win the championship to beat Jay Luz and LTS. Countless other memories of childhood friends, coaches, and characters.
