Omar misleading people: Mir => Peoples Democratic Party senior leader Mohammad Dilawar Mir Sunday slammed Chief Minister for asking media to refer to Army over Markundal killings. “He (Omar Abdullah) is the head of the Unified Command and how could he say that ask questions to Army not to him over the killing of two youth,” Mir told CNS adding that Omar Abdullah would possibly now hit at Centre to gain the sympathies of people as the elections are approaching. “Give me a single instance when he confronted with New Delhi. Now he is tell Centre not to take people of Kashmir for granted. He fully knows that his days are numbered and now he wants to raise the sentiments of people by hollow slogans,” he said adding that Omar Abdullah can’t befool people anymore. Mohammad Dilawar Mir lamented that the Chief Minister of the state is acting as a mute spectator. “Rampant corruption in every government department prevails. Without approval, works were done in R&B department. Bureaucrats and other officials are swindling hefty amounts under different Centrally sponsored schemes. There is no government and people are eagerly waiting for change in the guard,” he said. He further said that all the promises made by National Conference during 2008 elections have proved hoax. “One attack on Army forced Chief Minister to change his stance on AFSPA,” he said. (CNS)
