Omg! Plz read!!! Especially if you are going to see the movie NOAH... NOAH Someone asked me in my inbox why was this movie Noah and the facts of it so important to me and could there be a little deviation as long as it still pertains 80% fact, this they asked me respectfully, so I asked them can I put my reasoning to their question as a post on Facebook and they said, yes. So here is the reasoning why the three chapters in the bible Genesis 6-8 are so important, because the greatest claim in Christianity rests upon it; THE RESURRECTION, just like the ark Noah and his family was in. Lets me show this: Genesis 8:4 KJV [4] And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. In the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on a mountain named Ararat, the ark came to rest. The seventh month would become the first month in the Hebrew religious calendar when the Jews were delivered from their Egyptian bondage (Exodus 12:1–5). And it was on the fourteenth day of the first month—Passover, when Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God was nailed to a cross. Maybe now you’re beginning to see the significance of the text before us and the importance of not changing the word of God, but wait one minute and look at this;The Ark rested on the seventeenth day: that’s three days after Passover. What took place three days after Jesus was crucified? He rose from the grave, my God I feel like preaching a resurrection message right now. THE ARK RESTED ON THE MOUNT THE VERY DAY JESUS WAS RESURRECTED. My God the word is powerful, so i say this in accordance to the word of God my boast is in Him: Romans 10:14-15 KJV [14] How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? [15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! **Words from my Pastor.
