Omg! Today was a fascinating day at the Temple Tiger Camp. Our guide woke us up at 6:00 for us to start our first adventure of the day. With great anticipation we saw jungle jeeps ready to take us to the edge of the Narayani river to float down in dugout canoes. As we crossed the river we saw crocodiles sunbathing on the shore. When we reached the other side of the bank we had to trek in the jungle for a distance, and then came to a beautiful view of the jungle lake, where the rhinos like to bathe. We then went for an interesting nature walk for an hour. We saw the different kinds of tropical lands vegetation. Back to the jungle lodge for a picnic lunch. We then heard a briefing about the Asian elephant. Back to the river by the safari jeep, crossed the river again by canoe, and was greeted by an ox cart to take us to the Taru villagers to see their lifestyle. Came back to the hotel to rest up before viewing the Taru regional dancers. Dinner was served and then to bed. Oh, a leech attacked me in the stomach area, and the bleeding is now under control. We had a terrific day!
