Omg what is this world coming to. Today I was outside and while sitting on my porch I heard my neighbors across the street arguing after about 5 minutes of that the girlfriend was trying to get through her door to leave with there baby and the boyfriend started hitting her and slapped her in the back of the head. So I walked over there and told him not to lay one more hand on her. He walked over to me and shoved me so I put him on the ground. He got up and ran up to his parents. The gf and bf fighting are about 25 years old but they live with his parents. I called the police. They showed up he took off the police told me there was a witness that saw the bf shove me and asked if I wanted to press charges. There is a baby involved so I didnt want him having to see his dad get locked up. So I said no I wasnt going to press charges. After the cops left I talked to the father of the bf and shook hands with him. He thanked me for not pressing any charges. But what I dont get is I hear this couple argue all the time with the baby in there house and the bfs mom totally allows it to happen in her home. Her son has no respect towards women.
