Omigosh, I just had this thought.....Gov. Pat McCrorys government is going to have to draft new policies on state employee regulations for gay couples/families just like everyone else! Can you imagine the HR Dept. in Raleigh for the entire state? Wow, this is HUGE!!!! FAMILY health insurance, next of kin designations, life insurance, death benefits, etc.....And secondly, how does the federal government differentiate between couples in or outside of the appeals court lines.....i.e. how do they designate couples for benefits vs. those who dont qualify based on state residency......slippery slope, we have arrived!
