On 12/30/2014 at 13:41 hours HFRC2 was dispatched as mutual aid along with several other townships into Aberdeen for a working structure fire in an apartment complex. Engine 18-80 responded with a crew and was put to work immediately. Upon arrival Engine 18-80 laid 1000 ft of 5 inch supply line and acted as a water source to several apparatus. Engine 18-80 supplied a 5 inch supply hose to one of Aberdeens apparatus. The engine also supplied two 3 inch supply lines to another Aberdeen apparatus and an apparatus from Keyport. While this was taking place the crew from Engine 18-80 was split to serve as a Rapid Intervention Team and the other half to perform Engine Company operations.
